Cameron Crowe: This is a homage to My So-Called Life which is one of my favourite TV shows. I love the feeling of it. And I later met Claire Danes and said: “Did you see Jerry Maguire?” And she said: “Yeah…” And I said: “You know there’s a homage to My So-Called Life in there.” And she’s like: “Uh - yeah…” [Everyone laughs] Tom Cruise: Is that true? Cameron Crowe: That’s me doing a bad imitation .. She caught it! She caught it!
